Project Description

Valet parking is sometimes costly, but it can be convenient when visiting large shopping areas or restaurants. My concept of this user experience design is for an app called Valet Today that allows users to request valet service at nearly any location for a fee. With this service, a valet can park your vehicle and return it to you when you are ready to leave. Valet Today works similarly to other ride-sharing apps. However, instead of requesting a ride, the user will inform the service of their destination. Valet Today will contact a nearby team to meet the user immediately or use location services on the app to anticipate the user’s arrival at the spot. After meeting the valet and surrendering the keys, the drivers will locate one of the nearest parking spots and drive the user’s car to that location. The purchasing and gratuity will occur within the app, along with a platform to contact and review the drivers.
